WELCOME TO THE SPECIAL EDUCATION RESOURCE UNIT
The Special Education Resource Unit (SERU) is a service and policy unit of the Department of Education and Children’s Services (DECD). The unit provides a statewide professional service for educators, allied professionals, parents and caregivers who support children and students with disabilities and learning difficulties. It promotes curriculum participation and success through the provision of quality services and resources. SERU contributes to policy development within the Office of Learning and Service Delivery and is an integral part of Learning Improvement and Support Services.
